TEACHING
I regularly teach courses in introductory gender & sexuality studies and gender & disability, as well as upper-division courses in feminist and grassroots organizing, gender and the state, feminist animal studies, and feminist epistemologies. I regularly work with graduate students across departments, most often from Sociology. Syllabi from some previous classes are available below. I employ feminist pedagogy aimed at empowering students and enhancing their critical thinking and communication skills.

Photo: The College of Humanities and Social Sciences Interdisciplinary Building, home of the Department of Gender & Sexuality Studies at the University of California, Riverside. Photo description: The black-and-white image captures two sides of a four-story modern-looking concrete building . There is a courtyard with vines, grass, other plants, and pathways at the bottom. The side of the building closest to the viewer, which is on the right side of the image, has concrete slabs protruding from the building. Another wing of the building intersects at the back and has rows of large windows. A ventilation unit is visible on the roof of the building. The image is devoid of people.
